Registration

Small Group Courses

This includes full course instruction, class assignments, assessments of learned material, and communication with parents. Group classes are filled on a first come first served basis. Every attempt will be made to fill a class. At this time, classes will not exceed 4 students. Classes move at the best pace for the group.


Saxon Courses:

$40 registration fee + $100-$300 monthly tuition (determined by number of students, number of meeting times, and level of course)


4 students enrolled: $100/mo. per student

3 students enrolled: $125/mo. per student

2 students enrolled: $150/mo. per student

1 student enrolled: $300/mo. per student


Math-U-See Courses:

$40 registration fee + $25 per hour session per student (you choose the amount of weekly sessions)

All classes begin week of August 22nd, 2023

This course is a deep dive into fractions. This curriculum starts with the very foundation of what a fraction is, and by the end, you are solving algebraic equations using them. Students need to be fluent in their multiplication/division facts and have mastery over addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers before taking this course.


Math-U-See Zeta See schedule and request a seat

This course is a deep dive into decimals. This curriculum starts with the very foundation of what a decimal is, and by the end, you are solving algebraic equations using them. Before taking this coure, students need to be fluent in their multiplication/division facts and have mastery over addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers. They also need a strong foundation in working with fractions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, rewriting as improper and mixed numerals, and simplifying/reducing).



Saxon 8/7 See schedule and request a seat

This is a Pre-Algebra course taught over the entire school year. Students should have command over basic operations of whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percents prior to taking this course. Students will gain knowledge of proportional relationships, operations with integers, basic geometric properties, conversion of measurements, and apply this knowledge to application/real world problems as they calculate unknowns. This is a comprehensive course that will get them ready for Algebra 1.


Saxon Algebra 1A See schedule and request a seat

Prerequisite: completion of a Pre-Algebra course

This is the first semester of Algebra 1 taught over the entire school year. It is taught at a slower pace (2-3 lessons a week) and ideal for those 6th or 7th grade students ready for Algebra 1. If your child is going into the 8th grade, and you are interested in this option, please contact us. Students are expected to complete unfinshed work outside of class.


Saxon Algebra 1B See schedule and request a seat

Prerequisite: completion of Algebra 1A

This is the second semester of Algebra 1 taught over the entire school year. It is taught at a slower pace (2-3 lessons a week) and ideal for those 7th or 8th grade students that have completed the first semester of Algebra 1. Students are expected to complete unfinshed work outside of class.

Private Courses

This includes full course instruction, class assignments, assessments of learned material, and communication with parents. This class moves at your child's individual pace.

  • $40 Registration Fee

  • $300-$400 monthly tuition (determined by number of meeting times and level of course)


Private Tutoring

This includes supplemental instruction for students needing assistance in a class/course in which they are already enrolled outside of Raising Spirits Tutoring. This service also includes collaboration with current educators and parents.
